MJ Nale is widely known as a tech expert, most notably with mobile tech and smartphones, he is also a mobile security researcher, and actively advocates for our right to repair. He founded Phonlab Tech School in 2015 and with his friend Tom AKA Rootjunky on YouTube, the two took the course online in 2016. MJ has been repairing phones since Steve Jobs released the iPhone and he has been teaching cell phone repair since 2010 when he offered small classes in repair in 2010 at public library in Hawaii. He established Android Hawaii in late 2010 and he still runs the repair center in Hawaii. "This course is the only course that teaches everything, I leave nothing out" . I used to stay up till 2-3 oclock in the morning before online learning was a thing, studying. It takes discipline and sacrifice. This community has given me so much and yet we lack formal training for advanced repair. This is why I started Phonlab and I have a saying "Education should get you out of debt, not put you in debt" that is the reason for our low pricing but more importantly you have access to our instructors for help. I am truly thankful for each and every student in our program."
