What am I going to learn in this course


You are going to learn how to troubleshoot and repair complex problems that are common on smartphones today but due to the complexity of the training and shortage of schools and instructors it has never been widely available before. Just to be clear on our course at Phonlab. This is not a YouTube channel or a disassembly guide. This is a professional course designed to teach you skills and repairs that are considered the most difficult in our industry. You will do well and learn the skills if you follow the learning plan as it is from the first class to the last one, in order.

You are going to learn how to use some of the latest tools and techniques available to technicians today. Our goal at the end of this course is to have a better trained technician that can do more than just disassembly.

You are going to learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair problems that most shops turn away usually because of lack of knowledge, training, and or both.

You will learn to perform complex testing on battery and power functions and the complex repairs associated with them.

You will learn how to identify short circuits on a printed circuit board and then how to identify those components with a schematic.

You will learn about surface mount technology on mobile phones and how to repair and replace them using a variety of micro soldering and hot air tools to repair them.

You will about how to remove a variety of chips from a printed circuit board to recover data or repair damage to the device

You will learn a variety of unique repairs that have no formal training commercially available right now

You will learn how to replace and refurbish displays including LCD' using professional equipment

You will learn business solutions that will help you start a new shop or grow an existing one

You will learn how to perform JTAG on Mobile Devices
